The National Park Service has announced the opening of the application process for the 2018 Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program (ORLP), a nationally competitive grant program funded through the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF). The ORLP offers grants specifically to help create and improve state and locally-owned parks and other outdoor recreation areas in ways that will help the public connect with the outdoors, particularly in city neighborhoods that lack parks and recreational opportunities. A total of $13.3 million of funding is available. Applications are due September 14, 2018.

City Parks Alliance is hosting this FREE webinar with partners National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), The Trust for Public Land (TPL), and the National Association of State Outdoor Recreation Liaison Officers (NASORLO). National Park Service representatives will provide an overview of the program and the grant application process. For more information, click here.
