Program for the LWCF Summit in Denver, April 11-12 2013

 

The LWCF training and associated summit meeting was held the week of April 7 – 12, 2013 at the Warwick Hotel in downtown Denver.  The 3 1/2 day training for LWCF administrators ended on Thursday noon and the LWCF Summit began that afternoon and continued all day on Friday.  Seventy four state staff from 35 states attended the training and 94 people attended the Summit, including 16 young people supported by a stipend from NRPA, NASPD and the Outdoor Industry Association.  The final program is listed below, along with the NASORLO Subcommittee report on LWCF reauthorization, which was accepted by the Board as a guide for the organization for future negotiations or commentary.

The NASORLO LWCF Subcommittee recommendations on the re-authorization of the LWCF and SCORP recommendations are  attached.
