Recommendations from NASORLO on Improving the Efficiency and Effectiveness of the LWCF
The NASORLO Committee on Improving the Efficiency and Effectiveness of the LWCF Program for State and Local Governments has drafted a letter to the National Park Service on several issues raised at the 2015 annual meeting. These were then evaluated, clarified and made into the recommendations in the memo. The Committee Chair was Lauren Imgrund PA, and members appointed by President Moerschel DE were; John Beneke AR, Tom Morrissey CO, Tim Hogsett TX and Synthia Wamack VA.
Please reference the attached letter. The Executive Committee will meet with NPS to discuss the next steps in following up on these recommendations, which includes a session with the Membership at the 2016 Annual Meeting in Detroit, Sept. 21 – 23.
